We are nutrition + fitness coaches and registered yoga teachers, Tracy Barbuto and Lacy Welker, and we are building a community of strong, empowered women who are tired of sifting through the conflicting messages of the fitness and dieting industry. 

Our mission is to help women balance their  health and fitness while juggling the demands on their time. 

We are looking for women who are ready to make meaningful, long lasting changes to their lifestyle so they can get back to what matters and stop the endless search for the next unsustainable fitness fad.

Tracy Barbuto Bio

Tracy is a wife, mother, grandmother, yoga teacher, fitness coach and all around health and fitness enthusiast!  

Tracy gained a significant amount of weight during pregnancy many years ago and for the next 30 years she struggled to lose that weight and keep it off mostly by way of yoyo dieting.  This led to many years of of very unhealthy binge and restrict behaviors.  

In 2019 she made a promise to herself to build her healthiest body the right way. She invested in a coach and the rest is history. In 2022, Tracy competed in her first bodybuilding, bikini competition at the age of 50!

The coaching process was so impactful to her that in 2020 Tracy obtained her own Certified Personal Training and nutrition certifications from NASM.  She also holds a nutrition coach certification from the  National Association of Metabolic Science.

Tracy is passionate about helping other women get off the diet rollercoaster and start living a life of abundance! 

 Her mission is to spread the word that it's never too late and you are never too old!

Lacy Welker Bio

Lacy is a wife, mother, teacher, artist, and fitness coach and is always busy pursuing her multiple interests. 

Lacy became a Zumba and Pilates instructor in 2006 and a 200RYT IN 2014. But even after so many years in the fitness industry, she was obese and frustrated in late 2020. Nothing seemed to work. Following the vague advice of "eat less, move more," she just kept gaining and losing the same fifteen pounds. 

Fed up, she decided to reach out to our other coach, Tracy, and began a sixty pound weight loss journey and healed her relationship with food. The feeling of empowerment that came with finally understanding nutrition and exercise fueled her desire to help other women find the same success. 

In 2021 she became an ISSA  certified personal trainer and nutrition coach and in June 2022 Tracy and Lacy realized their coaching journey had come to an end, because it was time to open a new chapter as partners and Balanced Body Collective was born!

Lacy is passionate about helping other women find the same peace with their bodies and food as she has.
